It would seem that I’ve run out the “easy” carriage-history-related posts from our recent vacation. Unless you’d like to see some photos from Dinosaur World??
And it’s suddenly 6 p.m., and I’m still working on the October issue of The Carriage Journal (which was, of course, sadly neglected while I was on vacation and is now due to the printer in just a few days … ack!).
So this may be all there is for today, I’m afraid.

I love dinosaur world … One of your roving reporters will add to your post.
As I make my journey to Germany to meet up with the pony team, I am being my typical crabby self about traveling. I hate people being so close & breathing on me, I hate waiting in line & being packed in like cattle. Then I thought about the enormous struggle our pony team people & their crew has endured getting horses & equipment to Germany to train. The poor ponies are crammed into pallets & loaded up into the plane. I have a 40 lb suit case, they all have 2 carriages, harness & misc gear. So yes they are all very lucky to be able to chase the dream of competing for the USA with Their ponies but my hat is off to them for just getting there with ponies safe & sound. We will make the long trailer ride from Germany to Slovenia next week, I think 10 hours drive. I’ll report back tomorrow from frankfurt !!
