One of our CAA members sent this delightful postcard …
.
.
She wrote, “In going through a box of old family photos, I ran across this postcard. Evidently it was taken on a vacation in the western U.S. and sent back home to friends. On the reverse side it says: ‘Elizabeth & Harriet Sniker, Aug. 30-15- Manitou, Colo.’ It was probably a tourist spot where you could pay to have your picture taken ‘riding’ or ‘driving’ the donkey. The location was probably Manitou Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak, which is a popular tourist destination.”
Thanks for sharing, Vicki!
