While Jill was traveling in Argentina with the CAA group — and emailing photos to me, so that I could share them with you here — she was also uploading other photos to the CAA’s Facebook page. It was there I read that because of all the rain the area’s had recently, the gaucho festival was postponed for a week. Which, unfortunately for our group of CAA travelers, meant that it will take place next weekend, after everyone’s back home. The group’s hosts in the area were left scrambling but found other fun things for the travelers to do that day.

Here are a few of Jill’s photos of San Antonio de Areco, where the festival would’ve taken place. This coming weekend, these quiet streets will be full of horses.
