I’ve just returned home from my first-ever visit to the fall edition of Martin’s Auction.
One of the stars of the auction was this gypsy wagon, which fetched nearly $30,000.
(If you have a copy of the October issue of The Carriage Journal, you can read an article on gypsy caravans.)

Dan,
The Carriage Journal is mailed to CAA members and magazine subscribers, but it’s not available in bookstores. If you’d like to receive that issue as a sample copy, please send me your mailing address (caa_jennifer@windstream.net)!

Wow !!! I can only wish !
My project is coming along. Its moved to our own place and has its own ‘carport’, equipment shed. So the 2nd paint coat will happen soon. Work now is the insulation and walls, then new floor decking and then the amenities, counter, bed, bench etc. Its still the Irish Traveler Wagon, circa 1890 by a family pic, green, natch, I will have pics as its bit of its own apart from the Vardo beauties here. Jake
Happy Traveling.
