Yesterday was the Fayette County Farm Bureau’s annual farm-equipment auction, here at the Kentucky Horse Park. I must admit that I love looking at antique tractors, so I walked over on Friday afternoon to wander through row after row of tractors, manure spreaders, and all sorts of (for me) mostly unidentifiable farm equipment, all laid out in a far corner of the Park’s parking lot for Friday’s inspection and Saturday’s auction.

And, just by the way, it smelled like all the many car shows I’ve been to with my dad over the years … like motor oil and old car parts.

I hope you enjoy these abstract images of some of the equipment.
