I’ve posted a link to this video before (back in January), but that was before I knew how to embed videos, so it should be easier for you to watch it this time. And … bonus! … this one is longer than the one I first posted a link to.
A camera mounted on the front of a San Francisco streetcar captured this footage just a few days, apparently, before the 1906 earthquake.
Try not to flinch when people, cars, and horse-drawn vehicles cross right in front of the streetcar!
Note: there are some serious tracking issues at the start of this (long!) video, but if you wait through it or skip to the 1:28 mark, it settles back down. Enjoy!
